Every farm is vetted: Alex personally visits every farm before they join the marketplace. Pasture conditions, animal welfare, processing standards — all checked before a farm earns the TracedTable badge.

Purchase meat, produce, eggs, or specialty items from that farm. TracedTable handles the checkout, payment, and support. Farmers keep more margin because there are no distributors in the middle.

Fair pricing: Cutting out the middle layers means farmers get paid better and customers often pay less than distributor-based brands. Direct benefits both sides.

Where do you deliver? +

We currently deliver throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area and surrounding communities. We're expanding across Minnesota — if you're outside our current zone, join the waitlist and we'll let you know when we reach your area.

Do I have to subscribe to order? +

Nope. TracedTable is a marketplace — order whenever you want, from whichever farm you want. No subscription required. If you want auto-reorder from your favorite farms, we have a Favorites Subscription option, but it's completely optional.

How do I pick a farm? +

Head to Our Farmers to browse every farm in the marketplace. Each farm has a profile with photos, their story, their practices, and the products they have available. Click into the farm you like, add items to your cart, and check out. You're buying direct from that farmer.

How do the QR codes work? +

Every product in your box has a unique QR code printed on the label. Open your phone's camera, point it at the code, and it'll take you to a TracedTable page showing the farm, farmer, animal history, feed details, processing date, and distance traveled. It works on any smartphone — no app needed.

What products can I buy? +

It depends on the farm. Some raise grass-fed beef. Some raise heritage pork. Some grow produce, raise chickens for eggs, or make specialty items. Each farm lists what they have available, and the marketplace grows as more farms join.

How is pricing determined? +

Farmers set their own prices. Because you're buying direct — no distributors, no retail markups — you often pay less than you would for a distributor-based brand, and the farmer keeps more of it. TracedTable takes a platform fee on each transaction to keep the lights on and the system running.

I'm a farmer. Can I join? +

If you're a Minnesota farmer committed to transparency and quality, yes. Alex personally visits every farm before they join. Apply through the Contact page and we'll reach out to schedule a visit. We provide the branded packaging, QR system, and the customer traffic — you keep doing what you do best.

How is the food kept fresh during shipping? +

Farms ship in TracedTable-branded packaging with insulated liners and gel ice packs rated to keep food at safe temperatures for 24+ hours. Frozen items stay frozen. Fresh items stay cold. If anything ever arrives outside of safe temperature range, we make it right — no questions asked.
